No, no one has ever used the ‘law of attraction’ because it’s completely made up. It doesn’t exist, it doesn’t work. If you want something to happen in your life, go out there and make it happen. The universe doesn’t give a damn about you.

The law of attraction only works as a motivator. If you motivate yourself to go after a particular goal then sure, you can obtain it. However, if you just sit and do nothing then you will get nothing. Just wanting or hoping or wishing for something to come to fruition, then I am sorry, you will be waiting a long time. You have to have a formulated, legitimate plan to achieve something.

However, be warned. Gainful acquirement by deception is a very dangerous thing. There is one very real truth about life – you get back what you put out. This is not some grandiose pronouncement about the universe, it is just a fact of life. Swings and round abouts, what goes around comes around. There is a reason why these oft use cliche’s work. Because they are true.

Good luck.

No. This is yet another thing that people have the incorrect information about. As mentioned by eri and Tony, no you cannot simply sit there and wish for things to happen.

EDIT: I have been trying to work out your angle, Mobius. I finally worked it out. You are nothing more then a salesman. You are trying to trick people with your fancy wording and trumped up websites. But you are a book and movie promoter. Good on you for making a buck. I just wish you had some scruples, but no mind, it is you that has to sleep with that knowledge.

I have used it my entire life …. i also have no problem understanding the logic of how it works.

Eri would probably say – how about the starving kids in some 3rd world nation, should they visualize a buffet.

You have limitations, you cannot jump off a building and fly because you visualize it, you cannot defy gravity — but you can push the odds in your favor as long as you are able to believe in the outcome and able to accept it past the laws we all share of the collective laws of the collective unconscious.

I have never failed to have anything i visualize manifest in my life…. my friends have tested this theory with me since i was a child to their own amazement. I have come to accept that this idea works as we are all part of a holographic universe.

The Bible is an amazing metaphysical book – it says to pray as if you have already received, it speaks of faith being able to move a mountain into the sea, and Jesus saying greater things shall yea do then i have done. I tend to think also most of the more skeptical people who answer are agnostic (assumption)

There is OBVIOUSLY a connection between mind and matter – we see this in quantum experiments where when observed they act differently then when left unobserved.

The law of atraction is just a quantum effect of the holographic universe, and belief is the fuel that will alter your results as an observer effect.

If you want me to give you examples of where i used this can do so – i talk about it often on our radio show SpeakingOfSTrange – and have mentioned it when on CoasttoCoastAm. But i always do this – i would say my relationship with Joshua Warren and even the things
we do now are an example of this – we just finished up an assignment with Warner Brothers doing the actual lab work for the movie The Apparition that will be released Sept 2011.

The concept is about the Tulpa effect where mind creates an entity seperates from the creator that takes on a mind of itself.

Sausage — i don’t really have the time for answering questions here like this – i am planning on getting word on C2Cam and letting others fill this role as i believe and have experienced the info share – i just want to see balance brought here from all the skeptical debunkers. I know how frustrating it was when we wanted to do the research at Brown Mountain to hear all the negative ideas and rebuke…. your critical response is law number 3 of skeptics … if you cannot attack what they say – attack the person and their motives themselves.

Randi came up with this one a few years ago, he intended to pay people to scan the internet and newspapers for reports of psychics who’d done things like help out with missing persons cases (not advertising themselves and asking for money, mind you, just volunteering and maybe being mentioned in an article or something). His plan was to demand that they take his challenge immediately, or denounce themselves publicly as frauds. If they refused, he planned to wage a campaign of terror against them, searching their backgrounds for unpaid parking tickets, overdue library fines, petty stuff that he could use to attempt to get them in trouble with the law.

Edit 2 – TukMyHam – We are mortals and the effects are not instant effects using the law of attraction, but will always be an ultimate outcome if determined and sincere and not at the expense or harm of another.

But lets be LOGICAL … what if one neighbor using this technique wanted rain for his garden – and what if the other neighbor wanted sun for his daughters birthday party. Both were sincere…. the outcome would be chaos. This is an example of the norm of conflicting desires we all have collectively.

I said would give a personal example of using the technique:

Years ago in the 80s my mother was in the hospital after having an aneurysm, it happened at the worst time and left her in a bad situation where was trying to help her with her financial obligations as she had been unable to complete work at tax season for all her accounts when this happened w/o warning. Doing so left me depleted then…. but was holding her health insurance bill …. i was broke… maybe was $1 left in my account after all the unexpected bills was covering for her. For a whole day i was visualizing the $50 needed to pay her insurance and had many people who owed me money for business had done for them – but i could not find one person who would pay me….. my last stop that night was the post office – i was disappointed was no checks there and frustrated…. i mumbed how much i needed that $50 and had fully expected it before i went home to be in my hands and wished had money for breakfast on the way home. Was very frustrated as walked to my car…. i saw what appeared to be a $1 bill laying on the sidewalk…. it was weathered and looked almost like paper mache… but was right near the front door of this post office. As i got in my car – i struggled to unfold it thinking $1 is not going to help much…. finally getting the $1 opened up was still more of the wad…. unfolded a 2cd dollar bill, then a 3rd…. and to my complete and total amazement…. the final center bill turned out to be a $50 bill. I had the money to cover her bill and the money needed for breakfast on the way home to bed…. it came at the last moment and in the oddest way.. but it came (and as others said this technique does not always happen in the way you visualize) have had experiences like this my entire life – this is what i meant by the statement made and was made with total honesty and sincerity!

Tim – nods to you – agree exactly with what you write.

The "Law Of Attraction" does work but not to wish, will or intend a particular person into your life. I recommend two books. "The Intention Experiment" and "The Field" , both by Lynn McTaggart. They reveal what the science community has discovered about the minds ability and Intention, positive thought and the Law of attraction. It is very real work being done and it is quite fascinating.
