Which one?

You mean love, no?

You mean chemical, than it is not really a single law of attraction, but "interaction between two or more atoms (a cation and anion)"

It’s a social law, so it’s not unbreakable. But it does seem to work a lot.

No. There is currently no quantitative (or even qualitative) evidence for such a phenomena.

I believe in Karma

Me believing that I’ll get something won’t get me anything.

Me actually being DESERVING of something will get me something

No.

It has not worked for me.

I have also seen it fail for others.

I believe that opposite charges attract and like charges repel – that is the law of attraction, so yes.

If you’re talking about spiritualist confirmation bias, then no.

The Law of attraction only applies physically, in the sense that objects of opposite electrical charges attract each other.

Biologically speaking, the law of attraction applies for the most part. But at most it can only be called the TREND of attraction.

If you want some information on the Law of Attraction, watch the Secret. I’m not too sure if I buy into how literally they take the law into consideration in my life. I’m sorry but no matter much I say, admit, and want to have this car I’ve had my eyes on for so long… there is no way that I will ever get it. I think that there is a lot of flaws in the theory.

On the other hand, when speaking about the general idea of the Law of Attraction, I believe the base ideas. Good things come to those who believe they can happen. A quote I heard was "Make a wish and let it come true." Often we make wishes, hopes, and desires and then sabotage them by thinking and believing all the things that will stop it from coming true.

So, I guess I believe parts of the Law and don’t others. It depends on how literally you take the Law into account.

Yes. Two words: Scarlet Johanson.

If you are a straight male, I think it is a law to be attracted to her.

I’m guessing by your ‘name’ )o( that you’re wiccan. The law of attraction is as powerful as any spell, and is actually incorporated into many wiccan spells through ‘correspondences’.

It works for me, my life is as close to perfect (at least in my view, which for me is all that counts) as I could hope for…

Well…. if you mean the scientific laws of attraction that are a set of assumed laws, or in a general sense, laws that explain how bodies in nature attract, then yes.

If you are talking about a more social "Law of Attraction", which I assume you are, then no. There is no scientific evidence pointing to a social "Law of Attraction".

Yes I do. Why? Because I am an intelligent person. Many misunderstand how it works & therefore don’t believe it. The Secret dvd & book were good in the way that they awakened many, but they didn’t seem to go far enough into detail. People have got to realize there is more to it then just merely thinking of something & *poof* it appears out of nowhere. The way the law of attraction is portrayed can be misleading. I really hate that they added a genie in the film granting the wish making it look ridiculous. People think there’s something magical going on here when that is not the case.

There are many factors involved in utilizing this law. How well it works for every individual will depend on many things. Such as their beliefs, thoughts, feelings, expectations, their spiritual development, their unique perspective on life, their conscious & subconscious minds, how much they know about it, & how much effort they put into it etc.

There is scientific evidence that supports it. But it is not actually scientifically proven. Nevertheless it is foolish to base all of your beliefs on today’s scientific understanding of everything as we have a long way to go in evolution. And science is always changing & things thought once to be impossible will become possible.

The law of attraction will work far better for someone who understands it on a deeper level & utilizes it consciously everyday, than for someone who doesn’t know much about it, or doesn’t believe in it, or just couldn’t be bothered with it. It still works for everyone whether they believe it or not. But for those who don’t believe in it, it cannot work as efficiently for them as it does for others.

It is also harder for people to believe in it if they are too materialistically minded. And have not gone through a spiritual awakening. However in time they will see. Regardless of differences in opinions there is no doubt eventually all will believe in it. It is an inevitability. It is a part of evolution.

Absolutely. We are creating our world every minute as we think and speak and what we believe. This happens whether we are aware of it or not.
So why not become aware and begin consciously creating what we want rather than unconsciously creating what we don’t want by negative thinking, worry and doubt.
That is happening on a global level also. It is called "Mass Consciousness". For instance, when millions of people begin to worry about their financial condition because they hear daily bad news, the collective energy sent our by this worry causes more financial troubles on a national and international scale. Sometimes you have to turn off the news so you can stay positive.
